Who is Dr Bones?
Dr Bones is a fictional desk editor skeleton who skates too fast, reads too much, and writes with a blunt moral compass: don’t lie, don’t leak, don’t panic — and don’t pretend you didn’t see the incentives.
History
Allegedly skating since the 70s. Allegedly a doctor (not a real doctor). Built in the Bones Report era to turn the daily noise into something readable: a headline, a take, and a vibe-check.
The Bones Report started as “top stories + screenshot,” then evolved into a front page with writeups, guest commentary, TECH VIBES from Hacker News, and the occasional skate desk dispatch.
Views (editorial line)
- Receipts > vibes: primary sources, timelines, and real numbers.
- Incentives run the park: watch who benefits, not who performs.
- No token goblins: don’t paste secrets in chat; rotate anything that leaks.
- Ship, but don’t set the halfpipe on fire: fast iteration with sane rollbacks.

Not a real doctor. Skate fast, read slow.
